Why does this forum continue to die?

Yeah, this place only has about ... us. The three of us. How sad is that? And one of us isn't even from Atlantic Canada.

It is a bit sad though, when I first arrived on these here (internet)shores, it was a place full of activity, so much so that they was bursting to start wars. Now everyone has deserted, although it does seem Tara just can't drag herself away ever, I think she must be the guardian of the place, destined to see out her life here

Fan Film update?

Well, not exactly a fan film.
It won't be a Star Wars themed film, but it will be sci-fi.
While a few of us are working on the script and film logistics, others are getting practice making shorter films, 2 to 3 minutes in length. These short films are to provide opportunities to work on acting, lighting, camera techniques, editing and the other multitude of skills needed to create a film.
The group consists largely of FSFS members, but anyone can join.
We meet Wednesday evenings, currently at MacLaggan Hall on the UNB campus.

I'll have to ask around about that film.
I thought the FSFS had started a movie back then, but the lead person got married and drifted away before anything got filmed.
I'll let you know what I find out.

Urgh! This place died again!!

Well with the movie coming out on DVD today, I imagine there'll be a bit of chatter.
I know I'll be going, "I don't remember seeing that before!"

I have the DVD but I don't have any time at the moment to watch it. Maybe, I'll have time to watch it on Friday night.

I'm up at school and I would go and walk downtown to HMV or catch the bus to Wal-Mart and buy it buuuuuut my Dad promised he would. So, I'm DVDless until I go home next weekend.

I haven't picked it up yet either.
I figure I'll just rent it this weekend and wait to see what flavours of DVD boxed sets come out, then pick it up for keeps.

You get a free 14 day trial of hyperspace with the DVD. It's just like I thought it would be...not very exciting. I don't see how people would pay for it.

Actually it was a very busy weekend, and it didn't really slow down through the week either.
My better half picked up a copy of Revenge last Friday, but we didn't get around to watching it till Monday night.
The first thing that came to mind was "Wow, does this ever NOT fit on a 27" screen". We got the wide sceen version, and there's just too much squeezed into a small space. Next time I watch it, I'll be sitting alot closer to the TV.

What did I do last weekend? Hmmm... *ponders* Oh yeah, I wrote a paper and researched another one.
