Why doesnt Luke ask the Rebel Alliance to build a new base on Dagobah?

    the increase of rebel traffic there would catch the empire's eye. plus it would reveal yoda as well which yoda wouldn't want

    A lot of Luke's training was probably the solitary aspect, and I'm sure he would never want to endager Yoda by bringing the Rebels over.
