Why games has gone downhill.(not jp's fault)

Everyone on the board has good and bad sides I suppose.

I thought I'd never get along with JC.

 

This place certainly has gotten serious.

Games of Outcast and XWA need to be organised again, that was the whole attraction for many of us in the first place. And with many of you with really awesome rigs, lag (with XWA, and outcast if the graphics are turned down) would be minimal - and SEA / JP and me dont play too much anymore and so there's half the lag problem gone.

When PB or whoever makes up this server and the clan gets going things will be sweetas... hopefully.

 

Suggestion.

Take the Optimistic Brit option.
Start a 'Games Pub' thread, where Games can be set up and stuff and such. And where social interactions can occur without conflict between users except for the odd post-battle comments 'I am teh l33t, U is teh suck'.

I suppose a good return of the JC.NGL.

 

I almost created the exact type of thread you're talking about a couple weeks ago. But I held off when bibby was banned.

Dan, if you're holding off because you're protesting at me banning Bib, that's fine.

But I see no reason to wait for him to send an unban request in and have it processed. Why not have the gaming league semi organised before he comes back? With all due respect all Bib really contributes to this board is his sense of humour. When's the last time he helped someone / answered a query or even contributed an on-topic post to a games discussion?

I believe Insane Anakin has volunteered to make a JO Clan website... there's a start.

And this guy was talking about a server. Someone might like to approach him regarding playing the odd JCNGL game on it.

Funnily enough it was that very thread that got Bib banned (not just saying "I hate you" to Sithman, as Bib believes). Bib's attitude has got to change.

I was hoping it would be more of a social thread that occasionally announced some JKII games and discussed them. Sort of in the spirit of the original socialbility thread. And no offense to anyone, but social threads suck without Bib.
