Why hasn't there been any new information on Rebel Dream?

Why the information black out? The book is only two weeks away. Every other NJO has had at least a sample chapter or audio excerpt. What gives?

Jigga what? I wasn't even aware that there's a new one coming out in two weeks. Then again, maybe that's the point of your thread. I mean, if fairly well informed fans such as myself aren't aware, then what about those that aren't as up to date as I am? Honestly, I don't know. I think it would benefit the publishers if they advertised, but maybe they're burned out on cash or something.

It's rather out of the norm for Del Ray. Even Dark Journey had more information released about it than this book.

Check out the page on TF.n for the upcoming release dates for books. Rebel Dream is smack-down, bare-bottomed, right in the middle, well, actually beginning, of the releasings of all the Episode II related stuff. No offense to NJO, cause I love it and everything, but there are those that probably believe they can (and most likely will) sell more books based on E. II than the later EU. So, they're probably getting ready for a big hyping of those books. I think...I'm not as up to date as some of you are with book promotions, so I could be wrong.

 

Maybe that's it. but it's really hacking me off. we are having this discussion over on the "Spoilers for Rebel Dream/Rebel Stand thread. And we can't figure it out either.
