Why haven't you seen the Star Wars Holiday Special?

A freind of mine sent me a disk with a bunch of stuff on it a few years ago..... along with it was a copy of the Holiday Special... I saw it when it originally aired, and didn't remember much of it, but all I can tell you is that it's slow, boring... and really hard to watch....

The Wookie porn thingy is just... well.... disturbing, and I'm amazed that part was ever allowed to air.... Jefferson Starship was on there, and must have given up their worst b-side, throwaway song ever.... and the whole damn thing is just the corniest thing you've ever seen.....

 

I watched it thinking that there was no way it could be as bad as everybody said. Well, it was worse. The Wookiee porn *shudder* wrong just wrong. And the singing oh boy. I guess it was cool to introduce Boba Fett, but riding on a dinosaur with a tuning fork for a weapon?

Now this Donny and Marie tribute sounds scary too. Never heard of that one.

priceless. I was one of the few here I bet who actually saw it on television way back when.

The only parts I can't stand are the circus, the wookie porn singing and Jefferson Starship. Everything other than that, including Leia singing...haha...too funny.

you know, people who have never seen it say things like "it's so bad i gotta see it". but really, you don't. there are some things that transcend bad into entertaining. the holiday special fails to do so. it just goes from bad to really really hella bad.

just stay away.
