Why i believe Boba Fett did not die

Now supposedly you can be digested by the Sarlacc for around a thousand years. So at the time of Boba Fett falling into the Sarlacc and during the time of the end of RoTJ he would not be dead but instead is being digested.

We all know Boba Fett is smart and carries an arsenal with him. So he could easily think of away to escape during his long time of being digested.

In Jango Fett's death his jetback failed to work so he died by the hands of Mace Windu. However i believe in the case of Boba Fett his jetback was still working, it just misfired when Han hit it but it was not broken so he could use it to escape the Sarlacc.

Lucas also allowed the EU authors to let Boba Fett live.

So his supposed "death" was left open. If they ever made a sequel to RoTJ they could have brought him back if they wanted to.
