    Finally got mine!!! :D

    I still hope they'll re-release it as part of the Clone Wars line, 'cause I sure would like to get a couple more. :)

    I believe there are still plans to do so Tina. Remember, Hasbro does not stop producing something simply because everyone has it.

    You are correct, JJ...the Spider Droid is headed back to us in the final Deluxe/Multipack assortment of the Clone Wars line. Which looks like it will likely start to appear toward the end of this month or the beginning of the next.

    Got my Spider Droid that I ordered from www.r2dtoys.com today. It's on a blue card and has a multi-language sticker on the back. Came in good shape, too!

    I don't have one of these guys, but the figure's pictures have always confused me...does the droid have "feet" like they do in the movie or not?

    [image=http://www.starwars.com/community/downloads/wallpaper/viewer/theme20020822/7.jpg] <--feet

    [image=http://www.toymaniacs.com/2001/prod_images/SpiderDroid.jpg] <--no feet

    I know, lol, I remember reading people's posts about this when the spider droid was first announced/released.

    I remember someone even asked a Hasbro Rep at a convention and the Rep had no idea what he was talking about. :p

    Needless to say, my spider droid has no feet. :p

    Attention all UK collectors!
    www.starstore.com has them for £4.99, a serious bargain. P and P is only £1.65, recorded delivery. I've ordered one, and will let everyone know what there delivery speed is once it turns up.
    Could be a great find! :D

    Update time - I got an email from them 2 days after the order saying that it was out of stock and was going to be removed from their inventory, so no joy there.
    However, I ordered it from r2dtoys yesterday at 10am and it has just arrived at my house! Brilliant as ever! It cost £7 plus £2.50 postage, so that's the place to get it from folks.
    Enjoy ;)

    Mon, it seems that store isn't very good. I ordered a few deluxe clones and they were also out of stock.

    The confirmation letter I got was sent 12 times!!!!

    12! Yikes! I agree, their prices look good but availability seems poor.
    Let's all stick with R2dtoys. They seem fantastic! :D

    Not when they don't have Saga deluxd clones and they start puting their prices on basic figs upto £7 :(

    I'm thinking about ordering in bulk from America now, even with taxes, I reckon it will still be cheaper.

    If £7 is a lot for a new figure, how much do you get yours for Guff?
    And more importantly, where from?

    Well I did get them from r2Dtoys, until they said they're going to put their prices up.

    I haven't bought any new basic figs since then (haven't seen CW wave 2 yet) but I geuss I'll get them from Forbidden Planet or TRU. As I said, I may get them from an American site and pay taxes for them.

    Woo-hoo!!

    I got 2 of the repackaged Spider Droids (Clone Wars packaging)! :)

    Best part of it -- when the cashier tried to scan them, the registrar didn't have a price. So they called another clerk to do a "price check". He came back with a regular figure and told the cashier to use that UPC... so I got them for $4.99 each!!! :D

    Lucky girl, you. That's the first case I've heard about someone finding these, so it's good to hear that they're out there. Now I've just got to find me one. [face_plain]

    BTW, Tina, did you happen to notice what color Clone Trooper army builder they were packaged with? ?[face_plain]

    The spider droid, strangely enough, is one that's readily available out where I live. I loved that design the moment I first saw it. I also love the Hailfire. :)

    Sithman: TRU

    I don't really know what assortment it comes with, because other than the two Spider Droid there was nothing new, only Clone Wars figures.

    What would you guys say is a better buy....the spider droid of the hailfire droid? I'm going to get one or the other regardless, but I just want to get the one that's most enjoyable. I don't want to spend $20 on a hailfire if it's not going to be worth it, so I'm just wondering what you guys (who have them) think. :)

    My vote goes for the hailfire droid... That think is just rad-tad.

    "PhantomMenace, I would just get both"

    I know, I would, too, Tina. Except, I'm on a budget right now because I need to save money for my college books next semester. :( So it's only gonna be one or the other for me. :)
