Oceania Why isn't there ever Star Wars conventions over here?

I would love to go to a Star Wars convention, but it there are never any over here. Which is weird because didn't they film AOTC and ROTS over here? Is there something we can do to get a convention over here?

I hope he pushes for it and it happens. I agree, if the convention happens anywhere it will most likely be in Sydney. Which is a shame, I would like it to be in Melbourne.

 

I will move heaven and earth to get there if it happens, as the main thing I want to do is meet other JCers.

There's the Supanova conventions on the mainland. those are pop culture expo's as it were but the 501st usually have a presence at the Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane ones. I'm not sure about the Perth show.

There is Armageddon in Melbourne which again is pop culture.


As for a Celebration I'm waiting and hoping for one over here. until then I'll just wait for the next one to be announced in the U.S. and get ready for that.
