why star wars is good for you

    Star wars is good for you because it messes up your mind.For examale my friend was running around like a idiot hitting people with plastic lightsabers.

    What impressed me about Star Wars in 1977 (and I don't mean to take anything away from Star Trek...have been and always wil be a fan...first started me liking SciFi) was the lived-in look. Things malfunctioned, were scuffed up and dirty, and took place in locations not pristine or antiseptic-like. And then, to top it off, the whole mysticism thing with the FORCE was way too cool. To get a good appreciation of what SciFi is all about, you simply have to watch SW.
