Why the change?

Why did the banner change? I liked the Cleveland one a lot better than the reg Fanforce one. Who removed it?

 

I guess Seattle's FF site went down, and that is who was hosting our banner, so it was going slow. (It's been going slow for me for a week or so, and I'm on cable!)

I guess Geoff was going to ask Pittsburgh if they would host our banner.

But then again, I could be totally wrong... That's what I thought that I read.

 

Sigh.....mediate on this problem, someone must...

 

Actually it's my fault. The day I became a Council member, the shroud of the dark side had fallen - and so did the banner hehe. It's all a giant part of my ultimate plan to dominate the Jedi once and for all! All hail the new Sith banner!

Yes there has a problem with Seattles server but its fixed now. So I'm told.

 

As we speak, BMack is on the job...our beloved banner should be "fully operational" soon.

That would be the whole point of this now...the server that has our banner on it is not entirely stable

I'm trying to find a home for our banner, just waiting for a response to a PM.

 

I can host and upload your banner for you. Apparently Krash (or someone) sent me the emails but I didn't get them for some reason. Can you please send me the banner via email or PM and I'll get it uploaded and hosted for you ASAP. I'll be out of town till the 2nd of January but I can do it then.

For now I've uploaded your new panoramic Jedi Knights of Cleveland Icon. Your old square icon is still available to use as well. You can find the new icon under "options" then click on "Choose your icon", then click the Fanforce category of icons, and your new icon is on the 3rd page with the name FF Cleveland.

New WIDESCREEN icon looks great!

I didn't think they would allow a FF to have 2 icons, but if it's OK with you MJF...cool!

 

I'm in the process of changing your banner right now. It is being hosted by the San Diego Star Wars Society, so please contact me if you notice any problems with the banner or wish to have anything changed.

Regarding your new icon, some of you may have noticed that it looks a little "squished." This is because the size of your panoramic icon was 37 or 39 x 90, and TFN only supports a size of 30x90 pixels or a square 50x50 pixels, so there isn't anything I can do about that. I think it still looks fine though.

Oh.. if you hover your mouse over your sidebar (don't click just move the mouse cursor over the left side bar) you will see a secret message from me. This is a tradition started by Shara_82, all the banners she uploaded contain a secret message, so I started doing the same thing with the ones I upload.

Its susposed to say "Mara Jade is watching you" But the tag isnt working. I dont get the mouse over either.
