Why tonyf should be reinstated as an Admin.

And also, PB I think idle threats are unbecoming of a man in your prestigious position here at the boards. "A world of trouble." Ban me? Yes, you could. Not without an impassioned fight from my friends here, though. But after that failed, all would be quiet. I could become yet another martyr at the hands of the colored guys. I consider "a world of trouble" to be much larger than that. Are you going to send the "You Offended An Admin and Shall Be Smited" Police on my arse? Am I going to have to spend the rest of my life as a fugitive from the long arm of Johnny Law? And as you can see, I could have compared him to other evil people as well. Do you want me to? Just so I can see this "world of trouble" you have in store for me?

It was a stupid ban; I don't care what race you are, being called Hitler is simply being called a facist or a tyrrant. Sure, some people may say "Oh! I am so very offended to be called this, you dumbass" but really, get that thick skin.

 

The JC (the way it is supposed to be anyhow_ for all intents and purposes is just about dead, as this thread shows...things are not going very well. I'm curious as to how everything will pan out.

Will this be remembered as the tonyf wars...or the pg-13 wars? I dunno, who knows if we'll survive this...but things have certaintly come to a head.

That is that the mods come out of their "private disscussion" and tell us all to shut up and quit moaning.


I hope to god this doesn't happen as my respect for the mods has never been higher than it is at this point.

wadda_u_know- If you were smart you'd take that as a warning instead of a threat. If you were even smarter, you wouldn't say anything like that again. If you were even smarter than that, you would cease all of the "I'm oppressed!" cries for attention.

You stated on 13 July that you were discussing the issues in the administration forum. On 16 July NathanDahlin posted words to the same effect.

The message from you both was "Be patient....we are discussing it in the Mod forum, we'll have answers soon".

It is now 18 July. I started this thread 8 days ago and there is still no sign of a resolution. Frankly, I believe that you are effectively digging your head in the sand and waiting for it to go away.

As I indicated in a previous post, I won't let that happen.

So:

Are you still discussing it in the Mod Forum?

When are you going to address the issue in this thread?

Why is it taking so long?

Are you close to a resolution?

I would like some answers please. I don't think that it an unreasonable request. Once you make yourself a manager of a message board the size of the JC you take on certain responsibilities, like it or not. If it is all too hard then I suggest you pass on the burden to someone else. In the meantime, please respond to the issues raised.

Why do some of you assume that there is always some secret agenda going on within the JC Administration? Do you think that cleo, in her tremendous lack of time with her family and server duties on TheForce.net, has time to scheme? No! I was merely pointing out to wadda_u_know that relating Admins and Nazis in any way is a very unwise thing to do. You are calling us people of the most sinister crimes in history, when all we are trying to do is help around this place so you are faced with grotesque porno pictures and tons of coporate spam.

I personally don't care, but it is extremely disrespectful and intolerable behavior. We're giving you a privilege, free of charge. Show us that you don't appreciate it and we will void it, plain and simple.
