"Why we fight" - new fan film shot in Iceland - kickstarter campaign

Hi all, I've just created a kickstarter for an ambitious fan film I'm shooting next month in Iceland.
"Why we fight" is a 15 minute short film examining what drives people to rebel against seemingly overwhelming odds, set within in the context of the original Star Wars trilogy, but reflecting issues we face today. As such it is a fan film and therefore an entirely non-profit endeavour, but the focus of the film is on the creeping, insidious nature of fascism and how difficult society makes it to take the plunge to act before it's too late.

Bookended by a suicidal run on a star destroyer, the film follows a rebel pilot as she thinks back on the circumstances which drove her to rebel. Joining what is officially regarded as a terrorist organisation, despite growing up on an Imperial world, with parents favourable to the apparent peace and stability the Empire provides...
