If you buy Pan and Scan (fullscreen) you miss a third of the movie.

I bought the Widescreen Version AOTC DVD. ;)

    "Why?"

Because the Widescreen Version is GL's original/intended vision of AOTC and because there is just so much extra eye-candy cut out of the Fullscreen Version (that I don't want to miss out on). Also, for those who missed it, here's a great article explaining the differences between the Widescreen & Fullscreen Versions of the AOTC DVD.

without a doubt - WIDESCREEN! I don't want to watch a suffocating, butchered version of any Star Wars space epic. It's space! You can't pan and scan space...

Widescreen! Star Wars is meant to be seen as George Lucas invisioned it. Not cut up and slaughtered like the movie studio wants...

I'm a dumbass and didn't pay attention and just picked up a copy off the shelf and paid for it not realizing that it was full screen :( . I'm gonna try and take it back today and switch it for wide.

I only have a 19 inch TV, but I still prefer sidescreen because you get the pure film.

How dare they cut off a chunk of my movie!

Oooo...just wait until I find out who they are!

I'm telling you, it's widescreen for me. All the way.
