FF:WA Wierd e-mails... and more..

If the changes do happen then I'll probably make a point of not seeing it. Just like the special editons, there are some changes that I don't mind (such as old wampa footage being touched up and restored) but plenty that I think will suck. If they must have additonal footage I'd prefer it if it doesn't come at the expense of altering or removing original footage. I mean the idea of adding a few extra scenes to link it in with the prequels more is fine with me, but not if the get rid of original bits in the process. I hate that about the special editions. For example I like some people (who admitedly seem to be few) liked the old ROTJ ending and was peeved that it was replaced with one that, while OK, I didn't like as much.

 

I didn't read through all that, but I think it's good that they (if it's true) will be releasing a prequal box set so you don't have to go out and buy the redone again version of the OT.

recorded. Diana Short has pleaded not guilty; she faces 18-90 years in
prison. Her lawyer has begged the court to allow him to withdraw from
the case, but the judge won't let him. Short's husband has already
accepted a plea bargain and was sentenced to six years. The daughter

FEELING A BIT SHEEPISH: An unnamed 19-year-old man in Wanaka, New
Zealand, called police in the middle of the night. "He said he had
woken up to find a sheep sleeping in his bed," says Sr. Constable Ian
Henderson, "and he was sure it was pregnant." Police stopped by the
house, but "there certainly wasn't any dags, wool or hoof marks in the
bed," Henderson says. Officers never asked the man why he thought the
sheep was pregnant. (New Zealand Press Association)

OPTIMISM, DEFINED: Laura Ingalls Wilder Michele, 23, of Brighton, Mass.,
was sick and tired of her name: she was named after the character in
Little House on the Prairie. It "just didn't fit" her, she says, so she
legally changed her name -- to Anakin Steuart Michele. She says she was
using the name before the Star Wars movie series revealed that Darth
Vader's "real" name is Anakin. "In a couple of years the whole 'Star
Wars' thing will blow over" and people will stop associating her name
with the dark lord, she says. (Boston Herald)

 

I just hope she doesn't go and change her name to something else she thinks will never pop up in a film - like Aslan.

 

Ah yes, the "I didn't know it was going to be famous" catch cry.

That's akin to any male in the middle east changing their name to "Osama". "Oh the whole 911 thing will blow over, and besides I wanted to be called Osama ages ago!"

Yeah, that keyboard is cool. Friend of mine has it on his online shop, when it comes to keyboards, not all that expensive either logitech

Downside to it is that however programable the display is, the software you use it with has to be modified to support it. And if no-ones made the customization, you're out of luck. Unless you just use it for the default displays. But it is a very nice keyboard all the same.
