So,in Classic trilogy we had Grandmaster Yoda as the wisest Jedi, which was best trainer, for new Jedis.
And Obi Wan,as another wise and old Jedi.
Now,the role of Obi Wan is taken by Luke.
But,for the role of Yoda, will we have another Jedi?

Luke will be the wisest JEDI as he's the only Jedi.

    Well,I am not that sure.
Besides,Luke was not too strong with the force,he was not even at the level of Obi Wan from youth,in Return of the Jedi.
Remember that is Master Yoda who uses telekinesis to push out the Luke's ship outside the water.
And when Luke uses Force to raise C3PO in his chair,he makes a lot of effort,to do that.
So,how Luke could have progress further in the usage of the Force,if no one was there to train him?
    EDIT:
I think for Rey and Finn we will have some other Jedi Master, which in Episode 7 is much stronger than Luke, who will train them. And which Jedi Master will train those 2.
Maybe this Jedi Master is Ashoka, maybe is some other old Jedi.
Since Ashoka lives, she should be a lot more stronger than Luke,or any other Jedi.
Because she has the life essence of Daughter transferred into her,in "The Clone Wars".
The Daugther was more powerful than even Yoda and any other Jedi in whole Universe.
Only Anakin, who was the chosen one,was more powerful than the Daughter.

I'm not sure how you can say "Luke was not even at the level of Obi Wan from youth" - Luke progressed extremely quickly in his training and powers as a Jedi. Obi-Wan was likely trained from the age of a toddler and Luke had what, 3-5 years from ANH to ROTJ? Luke progressed in his training faster than his father did, and he was alone for quite a bit of it.

    Lol,how he could progress?
    Using self - meditation?
In case you did not noticed, the one who is handling the lightsaber to Rey is very likely Ashoka, since the color of the skin is orange.
Ashoka had Anakin as her master and later,I guess she had other Jedis to train her, maybe even Master Yoda.
Besides,I think Ashoka will be baddest Jedi in TFA,but JJ is keeping that hidden, not Luke.
Is not a hint that in "Star Wars Rebels - season 2" we are getting Ashoka back?
And that exactly before TFA Disney is still to release 3 more episodes of 'Star Wars - Rebels"?

She still seems to be wise. You don't HAVE to be a Jedi to be wise...

No Ashoka in the episodic films. That orange hand you saw was Maz.

Besides, Ashoka's gonna be cut down by Vader in Rebels... [face_devil]

But it sounds as though she's inheriting the token wise elder role. Maybe not a Jedi herself but rumored to detect force sensitivity.

Yes, the Yoda role is Maz. Even down to her design.

Maz will be the wise old master as will Luke Skywalker. Han will occupy that role a little bit in episode VII.

The new jedi order is fail order, since Kylo Ren destroys by himself all new order and
    Luke runs away in fear.
    Fail "master" fail padwans.

Luke triumphed at the end of Jedi, thanks to his strength of will and Vaders redemption. Luke became a Jedi. Now, did he become wisened enough to take on a student, or more so a collection of students? The logical answer is that no, he hadn't. His priority as a fledgling Jedi post Endor, was surely to further study the force and become more wisened and experienced. He had so much to learn. Him starting an Academy just doesn't feel right. It feels rushed IMO.

It's a point not discussed much to be fair. Why is it guaranteed that Luke became this all power God-tier Jedi Master?

Initially, I am thinking that Maz fills the role that Yoda played. Though, it does appear that Maz is the one that opens doors...similar to how Obi-wan opens the door for Luke. Then again, it appears that Han brings Rey and Finn to Maz. In terms of "master jedi" that completes the training, I think Luke will fill that role. But I would agree that it seems that Maz seems to have the "wise one" role.

It seems that this is what George Lucas said.
But even if George Lucas said such a thing,he did not mention when this will happen.
Luke was strong with the Force,as decisions taken, not in the battle, that was never his strength.
And I do not think Luke is very strong in the battle either,in TFA.
So this is what I was saying,it needs to be another Jedi Master, who is strong in the battle
and who can train Rey and Finn, teaching them how to fight.

I thought there was a small, wise, about 1000 year old Force-senstive alien who substitutes for Yoda in every way. I think she's called Zam Katana, or something. Gender bent, recolor OCs for the win.

No thank you and Luke is strong with the force and strong in battle. I don't want him to be shown weak. [face_not_talking]
