Will Lucas remake the orginal trilogy?

Probably. I remember him talking in an epsidoe II (or maybe one?) dvd extra that he always wanted to put all that special effects sh#t into his films....like the obsecene # of ships at corescant (sp?). THat was his original idea in the 70's...jsut didnt have the budget or technology to do it. So maybe he'll add even more to the backgrounds...revamp scenes w/ even BETTER technology...and really embelish on the planets

 

What do you mean by remake?
As in re-film them with a new cast and such then no.
But I believe he may touch the films up again and add some scenes back in that where cut for an archival edition.

 

Tweak-up Yes, re-make probibly not. Anyway I don't think the fans would like it too much if he re-made the OT.

 

I think he might do a partial re-make, but not of character scenes, only those where you get things like dog-fights and the effects are rubish.
