We all know that defeating the Empire is well and good, but the OT was really just a tangent for Luke. All he really wanted was to go to Tosche Station to get some power converters. Hopefully, the ST will get back to this main story thread.

So, will Luke finally get to Anchorhead to get his Power Converters? Will he Convert Power? How much power? UNLIMITED POWER?

    Discuss.

Mav Edit: I know there is a lack of things to talk about but... yeah, too many joke threads.

[face_praying] Oh how I woud LOVE to see Luke (or a younger son or daughter of some sort) piloting a T 16 Skyhopper through the canyons on tattooine...

we've heard about it so often, but never seen it!

Alas, I find it unlikely... :(

No, he will never find his power converters, and will die as a sad, lonely, virgin.

Sorry but I honestly am not getting the Michael Chabon angle to the post... my appologies for missing one of countless billion Star Wars related things that have happened in 35 years. Glad you got 'it' and Im so sorry my lack of getting 'it' has confounded you. However I was being serious since I was unfimilar with Michael Chabon minus two horrible movies (Imho) he did... and I only realized his relation to those movies after I posted the comment.

No. He got sidetracked bullseye-ing womp rats that were not much more than two meters wide, and forgot all about the power converters.

No womp rats were harmed in the making of this film.

Maybe they don't use power converters anymore like in Back to the Future they didn't need plutonium anymore. Luke just uses trash instead.

Episode 9 will end with Luke and his kid arguing over which power converters to buy.

I'm getting a nice visual of Luke tossing used droid parts into the tank of X-wing and saying "I need fuel." With 3PO looking away and mumbling that that isn't very reassuring.

I think he was picking up the power converters for Aunt Beru's hair dryer so it's a mute point now....the Empire has that job done and dusted.

Maybe she was cloned. Aunt Beruu needs the converters for her hairdryer. Remember, Star Wars stories repeat and mirror each other.
