There's no way GL is going to kill Obi-Wan off after putting him in all the other films. He probably ends up killing Vader. This is the last SW movie, right? *Somebody's* got to kill him.

    No way, he'll die!
He's been in all other movies and has made such a development.
I think he'll kill Vader in the end. It will be a very dramatic and sad moment, because he has to realize he MUST kill his former friend.
He will be very conflicted because of that.

I keep hearing these rumors that Obi-Wan will be sliced Maul-style by Vader, but that he'll still play a role later on. I think that's rubbish. It's obvious that if you get struck down by Vader, YOU DON'T LIVE!

Yoda and Obi-Wan were going to learn the "secret of immortality" from Qui-Gon. So I think it's safe to say that those two characters are completely safe.

    He'll die.

In fact, he will get pushed into the molten lava rivers that are located on Coruscant. This will be done at the hands of his former apprentice. It should be interesting.

There is going to be a 30 million dollar fight scene with Obi-Wan and Yoda teaming up on Vader. In the end he dies screaming NOOO! and the force is restored.

I hope Vader kills him in cold blood or just completely owns him to show who the real master is.

He'll definately kill Vader - Obiwan is not the type to let unfinished business stand. Besides, he whooped Vader before - he can do it again. =D=

Yes, I think he will die. Obi-Wan and Vader will have a rematch and Vader will kill Kenobi. It will show that Vader is the master.

I heard he ignites his lightsaber prematurely and accidentily gives himself a trachiotimy.

Obi-Wan will transform into Qui-Gon when faced with death to become immortal. Way to get Liam Neeson in, Ewan McGregor out.

I heard that Obi-Wan is to be in all 12 episodes. So, he will not die.
