With the new movie and seasonal episodes, I really hope that we get some back stories. Wouldn't it be neat if the show/movie flashed back and we could see some scenes that never happened on screen? Think of the potential. Some examples below:

    • Count Dooku's Jedi Days, erasing Kamino, or his Sith Knighting moment

    • General Grevious transformation (ala Vader)

    • Sifo Dyas ordering the creation of the Clones

    • Darth Plagueis and Darth Sidious - any scene

These are just to name a few.

    Thoughts?

It's possible, but at this point we don't know the narrative structure of the series- if it will be linear and take place all in a row or if it'll be more anthology-like and tell stories around different parts of the war, or utilize flashbacks as a storytelling device to do so, etc.

I'm down with some flashbacks in the series to give a bit more insight, especially on the topics mentioned in the first post. I'd be most interested in seeing a scene with Plageuis and Sidious, but I don't know if that'll happen.

If they want to give us an animated version of this:

I certainly won't complain (well, so long as they don't reveal too much of Sidious' origin ;) ).

    That'd definitely be awesome. :D

Anyway, I think this would be cool. But, I don't know why, I just don't see them doing too many.
