The Galactic Empire has been forgotten. That is the only thing I don't like about the New Jedi Order series. All you here about is about the remains of the Imperials. You never here about there life no more. Its like they don't even exist any more. With the long time of being largly quiet, could the Galactic Empire come back and crush the failing New Republic, and bring peace to a war torn galaxy?

Aw, not this again! Sorry, but this has been discused to death. The Empire is finished, time to move on. And if they did defeat the Yuuzhan Vong, that would pretty much prove once and for all that the New Republic has failed.

I think the Imperal Remnant is exactly what it means. What I want to know is if the Chiss squadron, that was in the earlier novels, will return?

Sorry. But I have not learned of this eariler debate. I would like to know. I don't know anything about Chriss Squadron. Maybe some else does. I personaly thing the Galactic Empire will regain its former gloy, even to surpass when the Emperor was alive before Endor! I would like to see other peoples views on this subject.f you want to debate this, feel free to.

    Hey Bravo,

There are still times where I miss the days of the Empire vs. the Rebellion but I think thats over for good or maybe at least many, many years down the road. The NJO was established to bring an edge and freshness to the SW universe and to get away from the, for lack of a better word, "bubble gum" universe. I like the new direction its going, even if I diagree with the death of Chewie, but as far as the Empire I think thats over for a long, long time. :( :)

Once I get time to read the NJO series, I will. I do miss the Empire. I agree with you on your point of view. Do you know how old Han, Luke, and Leia are now, with the lastest NJO book?

Pealleon says in DT that the Unknown Region's are the future of the empire and that he will retreat there later when the vong threat is impossible to defeat and emerge with the Chiss to help him conquer the NR and the vong at a later date.

Only 5 books per universe is allowed

    Counting novels only:

    KJA so far has 15
    MAS has 8 I think
Aaron Allston by a year from now will have had 6
Whitman (I think that's his name) has 12
    The Davids have 6
