I think Pacific Rim will be successful, but I don't see it being huge.

No love for The Great Gatsby? I'm wondering if more and more people have been turned off by Baz's style as of late. Australia didn't do very well when it came out.

 

Great Gatsby isn't like "Lord of the Rings;" it's not a classic of literature that people read because they want to. Americans read it because it's required reading, which reminds me of that other billion dollar hit, the Demi Moore box office smash adaptation of "The Scarlet Letter."

 

Well it's just good to see that Tobey is still managing to find work.

 

Well, seeing it was Luhrmann directing turned my "totally sold" into "pass," so I wouldn't be surprised.
