That was a good series! jms of Babylon Five worked on it, and it had great visuals. If they can put Charles in Charge on DVD, they can release a Captain Power set.

It had better still work with the toys. I still have those around somewhere.

If C.O.P.S. is coming out I'm sure somewhere someone is working on Captain Power.

I think it'll come out sometime after Parker Lewis Can't Lose but before the ill-fated Ferris Bueller show.

Is it sad that i would buy EVERY show mentioned in this thread, save for the Ferris Bueller show?

God I hope it comes out. i still have the figures, which were pretty cool actually. Never had either of the ships that let you interact with the show during the "game mode" or whatever they called it. Kid down the street did though, but he never let me try.

Would have been interestong to see the show's second season had it gone into production as JMS had planned.

I used to have the toy and vhs combo where you had to shoot the bad guys on the screen. I don't remember much of the show though.

    ...yep, JM"B5"S :p..

He was also quite highly involved in the production of the "Real Ghostbusters" cartoon series, which explains why i loved that show so much as a kid.

The figures for Captain Power WERE darned cool. I remember i found a bunch of them in a dollar store long after the show had disappeared. Oh i had a blast with those.

I saw the Real Ghostbusters thing in his IMDB profile as well. I guess I realized he worked in TV before B5 I just didn't realize it was on stuff I actually watched :p

JMS also wrote an issue of DC's Star Trek comic around the same time.

Not to go off on a tangent but my main complaint with the figures was that none of their visors were down. Really pissed me off as a kid.

I had the best Captain Power Halloween costume as a kid.

HA, I completely know what you mean! That did kind of irritate me, too..

Except for Tank. He had that plastic helmet thing that came down to cover his mouth :p
