Will there ever be a star wars television series?

    star trek did it. can george lucas do the same with star wars? which in my opinion star wars is way better than trek. maybe it would be to hard to have blue screen acting in an every week television shows.

    With official information that it's a possibility, let's confine the discussion to the marketing report thread...

    Dude, have you heard about Clone Wars :p

    And remember, Star Trek didn't do it, it was a TV series orginally, and then made into films.

    If there was a live-action TV series, can you imagine the backlash when it gets revealed that none of the movie actors play their respective characters?

    I don't want a live-action TV series for a few reasons.

    1. It'd take away from the films.
    2. It'd increase people's confusion between Star Wars and Star Trek.
    3. I don't want to see Star Wars turn into Star Trek.
