Speculation Will they shoot Episode VII in 48 fps?

I had no idea Star Tours was 48 fps.

Interesting. That would fit with the idea of the intended goal of "immersion." But does that work for all kinds of scenes?

 

UHD and 4k are different. UHD is the 16:9 home equivalent and is slightly less than 4000 pixels across (3840x2160.) 4k is slightly over 4000 pixels across and is usually what commercial 4k theaters use. (4096x2160)
