ST Will time travel be introduced in this trilogy? (Spoiler warning!)

The idea of time travel in Star Wars makes me feel slightly ill.

 

I must have missed all those fanfic tropes then.

 

Finally, my wish of a Star Wars/Star Trek/Harry Potter/Lord of the Rings/Back to the Future/Planet of the Apes/Dr. Who/DC Universe/Marvel Universe/Jurassic Park/Disney cartoons crossover will come true.

Joking aside, I don't think time travel will appear in Star Wars. I mean, I really LOVE time travel stories, but I think it does not really belong in the Star Wars universe.

 

Rey is a Mary Sue,
Kylo Ren is a villain sue
The plot is something that is akin to "Insert OC into original Trilogy" and let's make the new villain the Big OT 3's kid (Villain is a family member happens too often in fanfic, and they did it in the old EU so it was the first thing fans suspected when they saw him).
Creator's favorites, basically shoving the main characters of the OT aside for the new,
Ship sinking
Luke is the MacGuffin, who somehow manages to have less time in this story than old Ben Kenobi.

And now we don't need time travel too!

 

Time travel in SW? Oh dear Lord, no. I hope a flashback is the closest we ever get to "time travel" in SW.

 

We need to add a couple more Disney franchises into this, Snoke will release the Kraken, and Kylo will have Mickey's ears on his black helmet.
Oh and Rey will be a Disney Princess!
