Will Wald appear in the upcoming live-action series?

He should. Just imagine a whole episode based around the Mos Espa Balf Tournament.

 

I don't think so. Wald only appeared in TPM on Tatooine with Anakin briefly. I think it is unlikely that GL and the TV Show will revist Tatooine when there is nothing really left to be done there. Shmi is dead, Anakin is Vader so there isn't really any plot to develop that I see.

 

But if the show focuses on bounty hunters we might get to see a look at Greedo's early exploits, which could involve Wald.

 

It is possible that we may see Greedo for a bit but I'm not sure that would mean Wald. I guess its a possiblity and we'll just have to wait and see.

 

Doesn't Wald end up owning Watto's junk shop?

 

I never heard that but its possible that the EU explained that he did someday.
