Will we see the NR navy from here on out? Or is it the "jedi" war...

I know Allston is writing a pair of books that are rumored to deal with the NR military but Im just wondering if people think the Jedi will carry out much of the war. Remember in SbS the NR won several victorys before Corascant, and the vong took a beating at corascant.

 

Personally, I would like to see "The Jedi Resistance"

At the moment, the Jedi are doing all the behind the scenes work. The Jedi are just starting to take the fight to the Vong, and they will take the fight in Allston's books.
Seeming luke goes on a mission to Coruscant.

 

I think what we will see in Allston's duology will be a combined resistance consisting of former NR military and the Jedi upper echelon. From what we've heard about the book and the characters involved, this is what I am led to believe will happen.


Who else hopes we see the Wraiths, preferrably in a supporting role at the very least ?

Wasn't one of the Wraiths Force Sensitive?
Anyway, sounds like Luke is going to lead and set up Coruscants resistance.

 

Allston said in an interview that he thinks Tyria went on to become a Jedi. This was more than a year ago, though, so I don't know if he actually wrote her into the books as one.

 

The NR isn't dead yet. So don't start calling it the NR Remnant because it isn't... yet.

Enemy Lines will have both the Jedi resistance missions and a big fight at Borelis with Wedge, the Rouges & Wraiths and NR fleet against a Vong assault fleet. That's info is from some of the previews BTW.

So to answer your question, we'll see both.

They gave Wedge command of the military!! Of course we'll see it.

"Wedge, the Council asks that you take control of the military and cover our withdrawl."

"Ok. We are withdrawing to----________(insert Vong planet here).

 

This has the same feeling as (which x-wing book) when Isard captured Corosaunt. Will Tyco come to the rescue??? Probably not, but I wonder what parallels will come out of it.

I expect the next two books to have the feel of Xwing as well!!! It should be great.
