Wouldn't mind. As long as it feels different.

I want it to be fun and funny. But grounded in a world that feels real. I'd lean more Indiana Jones than GotG.

No way. I want funny banter, but not like GotG humor.

I wouldn't mind a bit of GoftheG style humor, as long as it fits within the confines of the GFFA. What I mean by that is GoftheG style more than...say...Deadpool style humor...

I have a feeling they will be going for a tone a little like that and the Abrams' Star Trek movies, like they are doing this primarily for a new generation.

No, though I enjoyed some of the zingers in GotG. I believe Lord and Miller hinted that Catch-22 was an influence on their script, so perhaps we're going to get some black humor (though I doubt Disney would allow them to push things too far).

My greatest fear is of a Star Wars film with frat boy humor throughout. But I doubt that's what Lord and Miller have in mind.

I'd only accept GotG-level humor if it has the same level of heart. The characters should love each other, even if they bicker and argue and sometimes act like they hate each other.

Agreed. Though there should be some development in the character dynamics.

I will accept the same amount of humor that was in Guardians of the Galaxy but I don't want them to cut and paste the same exact style of humor. I'll accept silly, irreverent jokes but they have to fit the characters.

Yeah, would love to see Chewie bust a move.

And to be consistent the music should all be Disco.

The entry theme will be the Disco version of Star Wars with Lyrics by Bill Murray.

That would bring all the old timers to reminisce of their youth back when SW first came out.

The last scene will be like GoTG, dance off with Han doing the honors to distract the bad guy.

    ,.....

    NOT!

Not the sure if these directors are up to the task of a Star Wars film, but Lawrence Kasdan is up to the task of writing another one.

Kasdan wrote the Han script. It will be good.

I am fully expecting the Han Solo film to be "Indiana Jones funny" in that there are serious action pieces, lots of humour as well.

    No.

One of the things I really disliked about TFA was the type of humor they used in the movie, and how they ran waaaay too many jokes into it. Guardians is basically the same if not worse, since they tend to get over the top with slang and what could be arguably considered as Internet "GIF" humor, instead of the old-school 30's and 40's humor that is more akin to Star Wars and other George Lucas' films/

    So, NO.
