Will you read the ROTS novelization before seeing the film?

It appears the the Revenge Of The Sith novelization will be released sometime between 3 - 6 weeks before the film.

Will you resist the temptation?

I won't be reading it until after seeing the film.

I probably won't end up buying it until after I've seen the movie because I'll need to have money. But even if I could buy it, I'm sure I could resist the temptation because I'll have other things to read and stuff.

 

I disliked Episode I.

I was only able to sit through Episode II because I had paid for a ticket. I haven't been able to watch it through since. Yes, I find it that intolerable.

I wasn't planning on watching Episode III in the theatre at all.

Then Matt Stover got signed to write the novel. I figured, Yay, I love that guy's writing, now I definitely don't have to see the movie, I'll just read the book.

Then Matt started talking about how good the movie is going to be and so forth, and convinced me it would be worth my while to see the movie. But I'm still going to read the book first. And I'll probably end up reading it more times than I see the movie.

I haven't even read the novelizations for TPM or AOTC!

I'll buy it as soon as it is released, but I won't read it. I'm a spoiler fanatic, but I won't read the book nor the script. I want to stay surprised for certain things.

 

I read AOTC before the film.
I know I will buy the novel the day it comes out.
I will probably let it sit on the shelf and only read the first page. Matthew Stover is an excellent writer and I will probably enjoy the book more.

then watch the film a second time.

Hi,Yes I'll read it ahead of time. I like knowing the parts that are left out of the film to move it along faster. To me, it rounds out the story. I also plan to get the art & screenplay in April.

I did for TPM, and didn't for AOTC, and I found that AOTC was a better experience, since I didn't know what was going to happen specificly.

 

No, the spoilers that I come acrossed will be enough to wet my appetite for the movie.

I always find it more interesting to read the novel afterwards to see what little tidbits they added there instead of expecting them to be in the movie when I watch it.

 

I read TPM before I saw the film. I read AOTC before I saw the film. I will do the same for ROTS.

I read AOTC and didnt regret it, but this being the last flim I want to see it without knowing how it is exactly.
