Looks like the old Willow thread was deleted.

    I'm in a bit of a Willow-mania right now.

I'm re-reading the Shadow War Chronicles trilogy by Lucas & Claremont, I just re-read the Willow novel & comic book & I just finished watching Willow for the first time in at least 5 years. I'd forgotten what an amazingly entertaining & great looking film it is!

    Any Willow fans around?

I remember seeing it with my best friend & older brother when it came out in 1988. It's a shame Lucas never made good on the possibility of a Willow tv series!

I also read the Shadow War books and I was surprised it was a sequel to the Willow movie. Never even knew the books were made a long time ago.

Yeah I still have the old Willow novel but its so old and beat up and missing the cover LOL, and read the old comic book movie adaptation also which had that fish mermaid man thing which was originally a deleted scene.

Hopefully Willow gets a decent blu-ray release soon.

Anyone see the Willow reference on Clone Wars this past autumn?
They recreated the Brownies sequence, with 3PO & R2 tied up!
Turns out Filoni is a fanatical Willo fan...animated series, anyone?

Love Willow. Just watched the commentary with Warwick Davis. He is so entertaining and easy going. I look forward to meeting him at a con in the future.
