Could anyone with Windows XP please help me. I need the Windows XP icons for My Computer, Network Neighbourhood and My Documents. If anyone can send me the separate icons for all three by E-mail it would be much appreciated. Thanx

I got Win XP, but those icons are built in. So you can't get 'em. Sorry, S*#T happens.

You can get entire themes (with logos) for XP, just like all the other Windows. Microsoft want you to buy XP Plus to use them but there is another way you can load them on, except it was utterly boring and time consuming for me, so I simply gave up.

When you right click on the wallpaper, then press properties, it should have a themes tab on it. There's a way you can add to those that are already on there. Can't remember how though.

XP looks fine anyway when you whack a good background on it.

I haven't bothered to change the default background for XP yet. I actually quite like it. I even downloaded the free matching screensaver. I guess I'm still getting over the shock of using a Windows OS that I actually like rather than just tolerate.

Urgh... dont like XP.. it has some good features.. but its too.. umm, well 'friendly' for my liking.

I'll stick with w2k for a bit longer i think...

You can download XP Style which is a XP theme skinner. Unlike XP Plus this one is free.

I'm amazed with XP's stability too. I haven't had a problem yet. I've even found myself hitting the reset button to have the Scandisk do it's thing.

I think XP's great. The extra friendly features are easy enough to tone down or turn off altogether.

Don't put it on SJ, the version of 3D MAX 4 we have (atleast the one I originally got from you, sorry borrowed from you) won't work on XP. Its because C-DILLA ;) won't work on XP.

I have found XP to be perfectly stable however for the last 4 or 5 months that I have been using it for.

The only Decent DOS game I've tried in XP is Doom II. It worked but it was a bit slow so it obviously had a bit of a hassle. I'll have to try some others. Any later games I've tried have worked like a dream.
