JCC Winter Storm Nemo is here!

We also had this much, plus a good extra foot or so, just a couple weeks ago. It's nothing new.

 

It appears we got two feet or so in Boston.

The only disruption it has caused to me is the MBTA won't be back today, and I was supposed to have a date tonight. So that is unfortunate.

 

I live in New York. It started snowing about 26 hours ago and stopped last night. I had to shovel my driveway at least three times.

 

Friend of mine who lives near Bridgeport CT said he got around 33 inches. He shovelled a few times yesterday to keep up with it and has done some more today. He sent a few pics as well. His bird feeders had plenty of customers this morning! He did manage to keep power so he was glad about that.

My whole neighborhood is snowed in.

 

Highway covered in snow? Shovel your way out!

 

Roommate and I just spent two hours shoveling out our sidewalk/entrance to our apartment. The snowbanks are ridiculous, no where to put the snow so it just piles up in a few locations. I'll try to take some pictures later.

 

We got around 3 inches. So when they changed the forecast from 1-3 to 3-6 they somehow stayed right.

 

I spent six hours clearing the garage roof of snow. We had no work due to the storm and it was either that or spend the same time cleaning 400 cars and moving them to clean the lot at work.

 

15 inches. Love my snowblower.

 

25-30 inches here. At least I live on a main street so it was plowed, all the side-streets still aren't plowed here.

 

We only got rain here, but it gifted us with massive traffic headaches due to potholes forming causing emergency repairs that shut down two lanes of a major highway. Those lanes will stay closed throughout the weekend while emergency (temporary) repairs continue.

Not that it'll help since it's suppose to rain three out of four days next week, and the concrete on that highway can't be replaced until late spring due to budget concerns that halted the project the first time.

 

Soooo much innuendo in one post....

 

They're saying ten are dead due to the storm including a Mass. boy who died of Carbon Monoxide poisoning while trying to warm up in a car.

 

Prepare o England for the storm of doom!!!!!!!!!!

 

WC is already calling the next storm Ocra. Really WC?
