WIP Jango Fett

To long since I haven't posted any wip, probably one month, I must fix that. So hare it is I've just done the helmet so far:

I didn't use my old boba fett mesh. I manted to, but when I opened the file, I've been scared. So I've redone it completly, and this time it's a low poly subdivided mesh, so it will very easier to use. I don't know yet if I'll share it. I may, but it will be another cartoon looking version (Can't doo anything else now), so fanfilmers may be disapointed.

 

The materials are pretty slick. Kool.

There was somebody else converting your Boba to Jango. But that was awhile back and I forget who it was. I think they posted a link here and/or SCIFI-MESHES forum?

 

An answer already! cool, thank zoo. I haven't seen the conversion you're talking about. That's what I wanted to do at the begining, I thought I would just have to add some plates on the legs, but there were more differences actually, and because I don't like that mesh anymore, I deicded to start agin from scratch.

you can clearly see the difference with the wireframe. Jango has a meshsmooth level 2 applied.

I noticed on some pictures jango also had a small dent on his helmet, like boba, but it's on the top, so you almost don't notice it. So I added

Ok I cheated, I took the body from another character I'm working on (this one)
the body plates don't have texture yet, I've just modeled them

 

Kool. I like how quickly you make stuff.. and I really like the toon stuff. We'll use him somewhere in SOTS. Maybe put him in an xwing.... stick him where an R2 unit goes. Have fun in class.

Big hips...But a really nice model.

Are you going to make this one have a lower poly count compared to the Boba model?

 

not bad...lots of inaccuracies, but if you're not concerned with accuracy on this model then that's fine.

 

assuming its just for fun/artistic and not neccessarily accurate (like above post) thats awesome, the helmit especially looks great

 

Dr.Jones continues to impress!

 

Hopefully he won't forget this model into the abyss of lost WIP's.

 

No I haven't forgot it, but actually I'm working on another mandalorian "right now", you know this secret projet with the canadian animator. Actually it's not secret anymore, there is a wip of on my personnel website, which will be online next week. It's going to be my favorite character
