Notes: My 3rd ever fic. PLease read!!!!!!!!!!

Marcie looked at the tiny baby she held in her arms. He was so beautiful. She kissed him lightly, then turned to her husband. " How could they ever ask me to give him up!! His sisters have been waiting for him to arrive for 8 months! And i love him so much... ". Her voice trailed off. " Oh sweetie i know. But don't you want him to help the galaxy, be a hero??. I know he'll be happy". Her husband said. " Marcie sighed and once again looked at the baby she held in her hands. " Okay. Oh Obi- Wan, i love you! Don't forget us please don't." At that she handed the baby to her husband. " You give it to them. I can't bear it..."
She closed her eyes tightly for a moment before opening them and walking away. " Good- Bye, my Obi- Wan Kenobi!"

A week later....


" Hey mommy, Where's Obi??" asked 6 year old Darra. " Umm, Darra, we gave him, we gave him to the Jedi". " Oh. Don't you love him any more?. I do". 13 year old Kadi came striding up the lawn. " Of course she loves him, retard. She gave him up, much to her own personal sacrifice, to help the galaxy!!!". Kadi was often too pompous for her own good.

a story about obi-wan's family is a very good idea. i've never read anything about that topic and obi is a favorite character of mine(obviously, i'd guess ) so i look forward to reading more.
so we've met obi-wan's parents and 2 of his siblings.(his only siblings?) cool.

Good storyline.

Maybe his sisters will get to see Obi-wan at some point and time. Or his parents can keep track of him.

It's such a shame that Jedi's were away from their families at such young ages.

I'll have to check back for an update.

 

This is a very good start. I don't imagine it was easy for any of the families to let their children be taken to the Jedi Temple.

I'm interested to see where this goes.

 

It would be so difficult to wait for a baby, only to have to give it up to the Jedi!
