New Jersey With just needing 3 people for a FF, who wants to join?

I'm good for now DG, on the agenda thinking.

I have been thinking of creating an ezboard, and that could be for the NJ FF.

 

That sounds like a really good idea. Keep me updated.

Well, I was going to save this for a X-mas gift, but Obi-HaCoR is originally from NJ, he currently resides in TX.

But I would like to nominate him for honorary member of our FF.

I am an honorary for the Augusta FF, so I would like to extend this honor to a good JCer and friend.

It seems like you guys are getting things together, if you want any help from the King of Prussia fan force, please pm me the details to your meeting.
BTW, if you guys will have me, I would like to become a honorary member also. Since I am in South Jeresy quite alot, I thought it might be fun.

Excellent on all counts:

Honorary memeberships are cool. A great way to extend our hand to old friends.

This first meeting is gonna be packed with info, so I hope that everyone is there at 1:00PM SHARP!

Does anyone know what the expected head count is?

 

I'm not sure about head count. But will the agenda(thus far) be posted here so that we can begin to think about the topics before we get there?


And how long will the meeting run about? (Just curious)

 

I think we are going to have at least 8 or 9 if I recall correctly.

Agenda

As of this moment:

1. Discussion of name of FF.
2. Discussion of the leadership of the FF.
3. Discussion of how often meetings should occur.
4. Discussion of which FFs to contact to get involved with their projects.

That is all I can think of....other than introductions and things.

Another burning question we have to address: Are we gonna have one FF for all of Jersey or two separate ones?

I agree, New Jersey would benefit more from one fan force than two seperate ones. I have spoken to my City Rep, Calixte, she might also join this meeting, but if she can not attend, I will be there and I will give out information about our fan force such as our press kit(hopefully I will have that completed by then!); our mission statement, Philly outer Rim guidelines, etc.
We are also a new fan force, only beconing offical in June. Once we start to host our on events, we will of course invite this fan force to attend.

Now can someone PM me directions to the meeting location from the Ben Franklin bridge?

 

I am unsure if I can dedicate too much time to it, as I am at The College of New Jersey in Trenton without a car, but I live in Toms River and that's close enough....Grand Admiral Jaxx lives right near me, and might be interested as well. I know that Freehold Mall area well and have spent many hours in the Barnes and Noble. Actually dated a girl down the road from it (another SW fan actually, lol). I'll have to see what the schedule looks like, but I would say I have interest and would suggest PMing Jaxx for interest as well. Darth Kimball Dreamer and MasterYoda34 are also SW fans on the boards and are from the area....I would suggest PMing them as well.

Just a suggestion. Again, I don't know how much I can help, but I wrote for the Asbury Park Press with GA Jaxx for the past two years- who knows- maybe we could get some publicity.

Just a few more weeks you guys...it is rapidly approaching! We would still love it if more of you graced us with your presence, of course! All you have to do is ask for info...we'll be happy to fill you in.

I think that one NJ ff is good for now. As we grow, we'll talk. But for now, one will suffice.
As far as other FF's coming down to help, I don't think that is necessary. As of right now we are just getting underway, and you know the old adage of too many cooks. Jedi Satimber and I are working on the agenda as we speak. Of course, all are welcome to add to it before the meeting date. Just PM me with any info or facts you want addressed.
We need to crawl before we can run, so lets get this first meeting under our belts and then start inviting other FF's down.
