Wizard World 03

Hello All, This is looking like another good QCJO event for this summer. being that i will be unable to attend DuckCon because the Air Show is that same weekend. Wizard World is all ways a fun time, and it the first week of Aug. and there is something cool being offered at this con. Gentle Giant will produce a clone trooper lieutenant with blue rank stripes as a summer 2003 convention exclusive, available at San Diego Comic-Con International and WizardWorld Chicago. The blue trooper mini bust varies from the other troopers in that it won't have interchangeable parts, but it will be priced lower to reflect this. The trooper is limited to only 1,000 pieces and will only be available at these two conventions.

 

Well hell if Steve's not going, then neither are we. Actually that's not the only reason. We figure saving the money from it and putting it toward Dragon Con will be better.
I would love to go to Wizardworld but I don't know if that will fly with how busy we'll be moving to Peoria and setting up, however that could prove to be a good thing if it's a Monday to Friday gig.
We'll see as it develops.

i had planned on going to wizard world with you all. It is going to probably the last thing that i will be able to do with the group for a while but i hope not. Due to tbe fact that i am going to western in August but i will be back and i will keep in touch. Also on july 21st i will be 21. At last i will be a adult. ha ha being and acting as a adult are two different things.

 

sounds fun, i will try to go and see if Will wants to go to.

 

If you guys are planning on going, look at around $150 - $200 for One Day Pass (Sat), Hotle room, for (Sat Night), and Food. You also may want to bring some extra $$$ for all the cool **** they have there. I will be bringing my Aliens and Ghostbusters

 

Count me in for August's con, schedule and wallet willing.

I just wanted to make a slight correction. Chicago Force's Wizard World Dinner will be at 6 p.m. on August 9, not 8 p.m.

Wizard World:

This is the plan. Everyone who is going should meet up at our house at 6:45 so we can all leave at the same time which will be 7:00 am. We should be at Rosemont around 10:00, wizard world opens up at 10:00 till 6:00 pm. Only other thing we have planned is a Fan Force Dinner at 6 pm. (bring $9.50) for all you can eat.

Hammond is going up and coming back the same day, along with Pete. So if there is anyone that just want's to go for one day, give Hammond a call.

I also think that Tickets for a one day pass is $20 or $30. but I really think its $20.

 

Hi there. A one-day pass is $20, while a 3-day pass is $40. You can buy tickets online at the Wizard World Chicago website that Sith Steve gave a link to above (which will save you a long line and get you in early on Saturday and Sunday).
