Just wanted to let you all know that Wizard World Texas tickets are currently on sale at www.wizarduniverse.com for all that were interested in going. I have mine already bought, hehe. I wouldn't miss this for anything.

It's a big con in Nov 21-23 in Dallas

 

Definitely not a stupid question. Well, this con is geared mainly towards comic book readers and gamers. There are a lot of big retailers and big namer artists and writers that go and autograph stuff and have panel discussion on the future of comics. It's three days long and is the first time it is coming to Texas. If you have ever heard of San Diego Comic-con (the Mecca for all comic book geeks); it should almost be as big as that. I'm gonna have to wait and see what events are on what days. Plus I don't know if I will be working those days yet.

Well, Joe is going to meet Paul Dini (I love the Batman Animated Series). I want to meet Michael Turnere too...those first 9 issues of Fathom one of the best stories I have read.

 

Ok if you weren't at the meeting last night we talk about hotel rooms.

Joe and I are going to drive up on Friday night and stay Friday and Saturday night.

I am willing to put the room(s) on my credit card if everyone pays their share.

So I need a show of hands of those who want to stay the same two nights as Joe and I.

I'm not going to make any final plans until the October 23 meeting. That leaves over a month for everyone to make up there minds.
