We can have two subjects here, then!
RT: all of my grandma's coats/jackets are shades of red
RT: Fuzz & Boink! (my little sister's nicknames)
    RT: Feather is always right!

Sotes, you only answered one part of my post! I WIN teh debate! Epic phailure, IN YO FACE! [face_laugh] Just pudding(which is like 'just kidding', only with pudd!).

I think that if the RT thread isn't reopened, there will be a boycott of WNU. I am not proposing this, nor am I encouraging it.

As I said WNU isn't mainly for social threads and you're welcome to pm me.

    *Sotes out*

OK, the Random Thought thread was geting a little too social, but I don't like the sound of one-day, random-topic threads. This is because that sounds too much like the YJCC.

What about moving the RT Thread to the FFC?
Would get it more traffic and we'd knhave our thread back. [face_thinking]
Provided FCC wants junk like that. :p

Using the same logic, the welcome new users thread and the pillow fight would be closed. And I fail to see how that was a scoial thread. The RTs might've related to each other, but actual conversations were rare. *Feather out, but inherent argumentativeness might force me back*
    RT: Stubborn, determined, same difference.

I have to disagree with that; the days of pure RT's were gone about a month ago, when the thread started to become more social thread than Random Thought thread.

There are some social threads in WNU, that's right, but I don't want to see WNU spread with social threads. That's not the purpose of WNU.

Gunny, don't worry. WNU won't become a second JCC. :)

OK. My mind instantly thought of a second JCC when I heard about the proposed changes. :)

i think WNU should be more social. i know i feel more comfortable here among these threads and don't have the time needed to search through all the sections. i came here today with the sole intention of venting a random thought. what do i do now?

    I have a short thought....

I was thinking about something that the newbies could do, after they complete their training. It can last only a month or so, but they can...[face_thinking]...[face_idea]...give brief thought on how their training went, and what might be added to the future testing of newbies? Or their thoughts about their trainer.

    Just a thought.

I am against any of my ex-padawans being able to tell what they think of me. That would be bad for my reputation.[face_not_talking]
Also, I don't want the PPA breathing down my neck. :_|

PMs being sent to skiara sound fine.[face_whistling]

I like that idea. It seems to the best option to get 'fresh' input for the training program. I would prefer PMs as well, because this way the pressure of writing something good is reduced. :)

Sounds like a good plan to me. It would be a good way to keep improving the adoption/training program. :)

Now that I'm back from studying, during which I have thought about your suggestions, I like to give some feedback...

I still like the idea of 'feedback after finishing the training program / adoptions'. It might help to improve the program. So I like to give it a chance.

This means, I'll send out PMs to the padawans, apprentices, adoptees and toasted toasts asking for their feedback. It'll be a general feedback and anonymous.

If one is interested in knowing the results, the one is asked to send me a PM, since I like to keep everything private until I decide otherwise (e.g. question about a certain change has to be discussed).

In addition that means when I get a feedback about a master/adopter, I won't tell anyone until I have got at least three kinds of feedback, so the master can't finger point who said what. I think this is fair for the new members and giving them a chance to give qualified critic (bad and good things).

    :)

Can I make a suggestion? That the person who made the current banner should be taken by teh-mole. JK.

But seriously, can it be taken down, and left down until it's actually April? It's all pink, and cute, and, and... :_|
