They promised an artist. I, like most everyone, assumed they meant someone like the Chevalier of St George, one of France's greatest fencers, an accomplished violinist, and finally leader of a French Republican military unit. Or perhaps a warrior-scholar after the Manchu ideal. Regardless, she was going to be a thoughtful, forward-thinking, honorable young woman. Instead, we are given someone with hair coloring and spray paint.

Spray paint. Do you have any idea how outrageous this is? M Night Shamalan's mishandling of the live action Avatar film pales in comparison. How can you all suffer through such perversion?

 

I saw her as a Banksy figure, challenging the orthodoxy in an irreverent manner. And therefore, her medium is appropriate.

That besides, I don't think anyone either expects or wants to have to watch some villain running around breaking lots of rules and disrespecting common decency.

 

Are you kidding? Films like The Patriot were wild successes, glorying villainy against the Crown at all turns. People do want to watch villains, Wocky.

I enjoyed Avatar: The Last Airbender movie. I own it on Blu-Ray. I never could get into the series.

I have 2 toned colored hair and am an artist. Am I not thoughtful, forward thinking, or honorable because of it? Have you even seen live spray painting? It's incredible and takes insane amounts of practice/skill.
