That is true. But I really learned to love her as a character on her journey towards freedom and luck.

I think Sionnach and her creator learned a lot about Sionnach in the writing, and she became a better person due to it! At times I found her frustratingly passive, and sometimes sadly uncertain. Kept wishing and hoping she'd be able to show more of the sunny loving, and capable nature she has. The final chapters came good there, as does this; and I expect some more of it in Cat Litter that we haven't heard from Sionnach yet.

Meeting great men might get you trampled under their boots, I sometimes think, if their future path to greatness needs it ... And the future will only recall his name, and perhaps it will cause someone else to be named after this guy - a greater man, and blue?

I suppose Sionnach was embarrassed to talk about her death herself? Especially as that siege is not something we heard about in her story?

Grianan was captured? I see there's a lot to look forward to in "Cat litter".

The editing was fun, and challenging at times too - I did miss it a bit after you finished the firstish draft of Cat Litter and handed it over to Pants for editing, but luckily (?) I now get occasional requests for urgent comments again while you have Lucien tell a story too, and further mould Cat Litter. I still think that Sionnach had room to grow,

You beloved are my red line that I hold on to. Even if I would have lost my way, or better my thoughts, your questions and teasing would have brought me back on track. And then, one fine afternoon in the weekend it all was there and seemed pretty logical.

I wanted a happy end. There can be happy divorces and mutual agreements. Sionnach is a forgiving character and a healer. She is also used patchwork families. So what I wrote seemed more than logical.

I, her creator, as you put it, will not let her down then.

I was also frustrated with her at times, but a healer has patience with a patient. She showed the same patience and kindness with Lucien and others.

A healer never forces himself or herself on anybody. GrianÃ¡n does, even though as a child she does it in sweet and silly ways. But she is pushy. Sionnach waits more for the natural course of things to develop.

It is a passiveness that comes with SionnachÂ´s profession as much as with her character. But like Gri she is a believer. She also might know more about Lucien that she told us, the readers. But she does not want to interfere with his long healing process. Nor add extra wounds to his already scarred soul.

Nonesense, darling. He learned to care for Sionnach as a person. Her passing will be a great loss for him. She was his Force student, the mother of his children and a good friend. Of course he will moan her.

I found it rather difficult to do my own characters. In my mind they are more beautiful than on paper and more lively.
