Looking at the pics of "HUGE Ackman" as Wolverine I could not help but let the word "SWEET!" escape my lips. I'm excited about this one; it has tremendous potential.

Pictures look good but I am still concerned about the slew of character making an appearance...

I gotta say, I think I'm officially on board with liev schreiber as Sabertooth. Looks pretty cool, not sure about the whole "brothers in giant sideburns" look though.

The Wolverine crew had a big production meeting in the room next to my office last week. I saw a small diorama/model type thing that looked like bits of the Weapon X set in the first 2 movies, a corridor with glass set into the walls and doorways that kind of looked like offices or like medical observation rooms or something, it hadn't been painted so it was hard to tell what kind of set it supposed to be.

They had loads of bacon and egg rolls and fruit and coffee that was going to go to waste so.... :D

I for one am very excited to see Dominic Monaghan in Wolverine. He's been one of my favorite actors since LOTR.

Isn't he a little small to be Sabretooth. He's a great actor, but doesn't seem right to me. What was wrong with the original sabretooth?

He's around 6'3" so he's not too small physically. As for the recast, I can't remember who played Sabertooth in the first film, but perhaps they were looking for a better actor to portray the part.

I didn't realize that he was 6'3". For some reason, I thought that he was smaller. It's much better knowing that he isn't a small guy trying to play a big guy.

Tyler Mane, a former wrestler, played Sabretooth in X-Men. He also played Ajax in Troy and Michael Myers in the Halloween remake.

I'm pleased that for this go-round they went with someone who actually has good acting skills, as opposed to someone who just physically looks like the character.

Gambit (Taylor Kitsch) and Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) off the top of my head. Others have been cast as well, though I'm not familair with them.

I'm kind of happy to finally see Gambit in an X-Men film. He always seemed to be the last mutant that was cut in the trilogy.

I really wish they'd drop the X-Men Origins part from the title. It's weak and unnecessary. I think we all get who and what Wolverine is. Those who don't, from the title, will from the trailers.

Besides, Wolverine just has s better ring to it. That's what we'll all end up callin' it anyway.
