Get some rest, Brittany. Don't worry about the table. We'll figure something out if you can't make it. Just call if you can or can't make it. :)

If I faint when I meet a celeb, somebody slap me!

    Hey, do you really think I need ID to prove my age? 8-}

Devin and everyone else. As a reminder - those wanting to participate in the RL/Jedi photo shoot, please meet promptly at the SF FAN FORCE table on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.

**Also, due to possible more rainy weather, as well as the Chinese New Year Parade in downtown SF going on later that afternoon, please plan on coming earlier than usual to: find parking, avoid traffic, etc.

I got the chance to stop by WonderCon yesterday for a short time. Didn't have time to say hi or anything while there, but I wanted to compliment those I saw in costume on their attire. In particular, I don't know if Elvis-trooper is on the boards, but if so I wanted to say I loved it! =D=

And I don't know who all the other stormtroopers were but I discovered they made me very nervous even when there was only one. And in large groups... eeek. I guess I saw ANH at too impressionable an age eh?

Overall, I had a great time, although I wish I had time to go to some panels, shop, and get autographs instead of being stuck at the table filling in shifts. Meeting Ray and Daniel again was great, and escorting Peter was cool! :D Sorry if I seemed a littled stressed at times. I was going back and forth between my SFFF and my 501st duties. I'd have liked our Rebel Legion photo shoot to have had more people in it, but oh well, that's the rebellion for ya, scattered and disorganized. ;) Nice to see all the Rogues from Sac come down, and thanks again to Deadpool for the Chanel CD.

For our next meeting, please bring your pics on CD so Robert can possibly burn them on one disc and we can all have copies. Karen, the official photographer for the GGG, will also give me a disc of the 700+ pics she took as well! We'll also discuss the good (and bad) aspects of the con, so we can improve for next year.

I was great to have 50+ people sign up for info about the club, too! If we can have at least 1/4 of those people become permanent members of the club, that'd be great!

    Until the next meeting...

It was a pleasure meeting many of you at wondercon on Saturday (I was dressed as the yellow Padme in the morning). It was especially cool to see some familiar Jedi escorting Peter Mayhew to the stage during the Star Wars presentation!

I didn't take many photos, but the few I have are online if anyone wants to check them out.

It's always such an inspiration to see so many fantastic costumes! Perhaps I'll see some of you again at CIII in a few months.

Hey SFFF! Speaking for the SVRF I want to thank all of you for making the Rogues feel welcome, which when the Rogues are dealing with the greatest Fan Force, that's a given. You all have proven your character and worth, which is greater than gold. You all are awesome!

I can't wait until our next encounter!!

That's high praise coming from the second most feared Rogue Squadron in the galaxy... ;)

WonderCon was off the hook! I think almost everything went really well except for the table shift rotation... I suggest that next time there should be some kind of reprimand system. Although even I left the table at times, although in my defense it was SFFF related business. Regardless everything else was sick. Highlights include:

    1) Hittin it up with Daniel Logan! Again!

    2) Jedi bodyguard for Daniel Logan!

    3) Helping Mary and Steve out with the Jedi escort for Peter Mayhew!

    4) "Feel the F"! hahaha... (inside joke)

    5) All the new toys that we got the sneak preview of at our table!

    6) All the ladies, in the skimpy outfits! ;)

    7) Seeing folks I haven't seen in a long time... A long time...

Alright, I'm good to go, bring on C3!

After recovering this weekend from a 2 and 1/2 nap, here are some random highlights about WonderCon05 in no particular order:
    - Escorting Peter Mayhew and his wife to their booth on Fri after just arriving.
    - Asking his thoughts about the Holiday special ;): rolled eyes,"it was just a job"... "Lucas just signed his name on it," one of the reasons to re-visit the Wookie planet in EP. III.
    - Escorting Peter on Sat. I was pretty much at his " wookie" level.
    - Giving my bro's Maul saber hilt to Ray Park to have him pose and play w/it during the 501st photo shoot.
    - Chillin' with Daniel Logan again.
    - Getting to play and advertise the new MR FX sabers. Thanks Rob! Brought lots of folks to our booth.
    - Crashing a kid's b-day party at the Zeum w/the 501st and watching Ed and another trooper Karaoke to "Y.M.C.A" in the green-screen room.
    - Posing w/ the "nudy models" and getting more photo-play paparazzi in front of their booths, they did them on Sunday. (Brought back memories of Comic-Con03)
    - Meeting up w/old faces like: Sac Force, Keith, Tracy, and Kenny Elvis, as well as meeting many new potential members...
    etc,etc,etc.
    Low-lights?
    - Not going to any other panels except the LFL one. :(
    - Again the way the shifts needing to be better handled.
That's all for now, and there will be more to discuss at the March meeting...

    Upside
Kickin it with my friends from all the local sides of the force.

Working the Devils Rejects table and being in stalker range of Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, and other Smith pals.

Shaking the hand of Chewy. What a ginormus hand that was!!

Running into Joss on the convention floor....where I thanked him for his run on the X-men comic, got a autograph for a friend (I'm not much of a autograph guy) and for some reason I gave him a "good game" pat on the belly as we parted company. Not sure why i did that, but I'm sure he'll remember it for awhile.

    picked up some good deals

    Free stuff!!

Sitting next to the always entertaining Eva at Denny's.

    Downside
Not enough time in the day.

Would love to have stayed in S.F and been there on Sunday.

Not being able to be in costume.

I wish I would have spoken to Daniel Logan, he seemed like a cool kid. sounds like he was acting pretty lousy.
let him try that on Deadpool and see where it gets him...then i can brag about how I made Boba Fett cry.

all in all the downside for me wasn't much compared to the up side. I had a great time. I hope we can all get together at the Sac Con coming up in March.
