San Fran, CA WONDERCON - March 2 - 4, 2007

I know it seems early, but I just got an application for WonderCon, which will be held at Moscone Convention Center South (yes, another location). It's bigger than last year's location, but about the same size as two years ago.

I know some of you found us via our table at WonderCon, and for some of us, it holds a special place in our hearts for this club.

With our myspace and youtube accounts hopefully running strong by then, we can attract even more members to rule over this part of the galaxy!

Wondercon rules! Hopefully next year they will have worked out the problem with the fire marshel.

 

Yes, The Myspace and You Tube site will be a "Fully functional battle station" well before then.

Awesome! I loved WonderCon last year!! I also joined the club then Out of curiosity, does anyone know how much it will be to get in for us? I volunteered last year to get a free pass so I have no clue

 

I know this is a dumb question but when is it this year? Oh yes just so you know I will go as Callisto or Aayla Secura if I get the costume done!! But yeah when is it?

 

Don't tell anybody, but it's in the suject line

 

I'm hoping/planning to have my Mon Mothma costume ready by then! Of course, if my stupid car quits eating my paycheck with repairs, I will have the costume done!

For the next four months, let's all start brainstorming with ideas on how to make next year better. Now that we have myspace, that's a good starting point for promoting to people. Business cards, a new banner, and a raffle were discussed at the last meeting. Anything else? Please post here. We'll bring these up in person at the next four meetings.

Sadly I'm saving ALL of my extra cash, what there is of it, for L.A.

 

I will probably go, but i'm not sure yet.

 

I'm going to WC, I hope to see you guys there -- never been -- is there a place where the fan tables are? It'll be interesting to see how much the Moscone center area has changed, I haven't been there in over 10 years.
