If anyone has photos from the convention that they'd like to contribute to the SFFF photo gallery, can you please e-mail them to me soon? I'm working on the WonderCon album today. I'll do a second run at it probably a few weeks from now once more photos trickled in (Albert said it would take a while to get his photos to us because he has so many to sort through). But I'd like to get the bulk of them up in the first go around.

Check my profile for the e-mail addy to submit them to. Or look it up under 'contact' at http://sffanforce.com/sf_contact.html

I've uploaded my own set of photos to my web site. Once I get photos from Matt, Albert, and anyone else who took photos I'll put them all into the SFFF album.

Eurobeat King does have Friday (and a few Sat Morning) photos up so far.

And there is always the GGG album:

Oh, and I got a busniess card for this gentleman's web site. I'll ask him permission for use of photos (his card said it's OK to use the images for non-profit)

I still have the white SFFF sign from our table. Does anyone want it? Those who attended can sign it and give to whoever wants it at the meeting.

Don't forget to bring any WonderCon pictures to the meeting for Kathy to put on the website!

That's all I was given. It helps if people can e-mail me or send me the photos with the week or so of the events. It creates extra work when I have to go back and add stuff (double work, I'm feeling a bit slavish to the web site as is lately...)

Do you need help? Maybe we should limit what we should put up for each event. Like no more than 15 pics or something. That way we can also be choosey on which pics look cool and nice to put up. Everything else people can just put their own links to where for whatever pics they have.

No, I like having lots of photos. It just helps if people can be sure to mail out a disc, or e-mail me photos right away. It also helps if people can fix red eye, and rotate photos, & weed out the blurry images ahead of time so I don't have to fix all that before uploading.

Bottom line, web sites are a lot of work. It's not like a my space page or a blog that you just type in, or uploading images to Iphoto or some sort of database driven automated web gallery. But I think it is more professional to have all the member photos on our own web site rather than having a bunch of outside links. I don't mind including some of those outside links, but I think having our own gallery makes us look more legit and professional.

Which is why I usually say this before and during meetings. [face_shame_on_you]

There's a video series on sw.com from artist extraordinaire Matt Busch. I believe this is what he asked some of the GGG to help him with at WonderCon on Sunday. You should watch the entire video, and it's the last part with all the troopers, and yours truly was behind the camera. :D

Erick, where were you when we filmed that?!
