FF:NSW Wonderland Meet

OK, its set for 22nd September. We're hoping to arrive at around 10am, which is opening time.

Here are some basic travel arrangements for those of us stuck on public transport:

There is a train from central at about 8:40 am. That'll get us to Rooty Hill Station at 9:30. Then there is a bus from Rooty Hill Station to Wonderland at 9:40, which'll get us there at around opening time.

Tickets are around $40.00 each.

Anything I missed?

 

Nope that sounds about right. Are the non-locals/non-car-folk going to meet at Central?

What time should we all be in central and where abouts in central?

 

Just to clarify it's actually a bus from Rooty Hill to Wonderland.

 

I say we meet the same place we always do: In front of the big blue screens that have the train times, under the clock.

 

And we have to decide on where to meet at Wonderland too.

 

The entrance?

 

A big koala came up to me the other week and told me to go to Wonderland...I must make the journey...


the easiest thing would be to meet at the gates yea? either out front or just inside.

 

Sounds good to me, although there is 2 entrances. One for the Wildlife Park and one into Wonderland. Both give access to both parts of the park. The main entrance would be the best. If you like I'll go and have a look for anything that sticks out so we can all meet at that point.
Mainly to help those like myself who haven't met all of you, yet.

Ok, I'm off for the next 4 days so when it's not so wet out I'll go and have a look. I'm only a few minutes down the road so it's not out of the way.

How cool is this?! We have a meet organised over a month in advance! Almost 2 mths!

OK< I gotta admit, it was Lindas idea to go to Wonderland, but it was ME who started the thread dammit!!!

 

Should be easy for me to get there to meet you guys. I'll have to check on train times from the Mountains.

The meet sounds all right by me, hopegully my camera will work byt then, so we can take lotsa pictures.
