JK Rowling just said that book five of Harry Potter will be around the same length of book four (700+ pages!!!), and that she's done except for some tweaking!!! That means the next book isn't that much farther away!

Didn't say it was 'only' a SW forum. Obviosly you can't read... "I thought this was a Star Wars Forum" or the LARGE WORDS AT THE TOP OF THIS PAGE "JEDI COUNCIL" ...that refers to SW ... What do you think it means?

Jedi Council = Star Wars

Highlander = cool sword fighting

Harry Potter = semi-entertaining film (a film should stand on its own without having to have read the book - this one didn't)

 

Maybe if I had read the book I would like it better..... nahhh!! Prolly not!!

I thought HP stood up just great on it's own (without the book).

Considering that just about everything from the book was in the movie, I don't see where the huge difference is.

Keep this in mind, just like Episodes 1-3, HP Sorcerer's Stone, is one part of a greater story. Everything you need for the story was in the first flick, and everything you need for furture flicks was in it as well.

It all pans out in the end, just like any other good "saga."

 

Eh, don't bother. These non-Potter people wouldn't know a good story if it came up and bit them on the nose.

 

I, for one, am going to go see it. The bookis always better than the movie though. I might even take the kids with me.

 

well technically publishing dates have been set for sometime early 03 for quite a few months, though i find it funny that she orginally said that order of the phoenix wouldn't not be longer than goblet of fire, but if it's 700+ pages then it can't be quite that much shorter if it's not more, oh well what the hey, it's all good potter fun, can't wait till the cos movie just cause it's coming out soon and already got plans for a totally exciting 15 nov..... now there's ya'll a run on scentence to pick at
