Should we buy our tickets online before hand? And I think it would be fair if everyone brought an extra $2 to help pay for gas, bridge tolls, and parking. Also, does anyone know of a parking garage close by the theater? It would be a lot easier leaving the cars there rather then parking them on the street.

I also wouldn't mind driving. I have a blazer that can hold 5 people including myself, but it might be kinda cramped in the back depending on who sits there. I might have a friend or two coming along with us.

Well, thats about it for now I guess.

there is a parking garage on 5th and mission, literally right across the street from the Meteron. I don't know how much parking is, but you can bet it's not gonna be less than 7 or 8 dollars.

 

Yes, we're going to the Sony Metreon, and $7 or $8 bucks isn't bad if that's all it costs.

 

I was just there Sunday! They still have Jedi Starfighter in the Playstation part, maybe we could go there after the movie?

 

Great fn! Thanks for offering to drive. With both you and crutag driving, we should have a good amount of room, even if you bring a couple of friends. And absolutely I think everyone should chip in some money to their driver for gas, parking and the toll.

I just learned that Sunday is the huge gay pride parade in San Francisco. Even with that knowledge, we're leaving for the movie in plenty of time, right?

 

Oh yeah, that's right! You guys should probably plan on leaving a lot earlier cause the parade marches right down there and it'll be madness. Parking garages fill up fast on Pride Day.
If it comes down to it, though, you can always park at a BART station w/ a garage and take the train over.

 

but we're going on Saturday, a day before Pride Day. Is it still going to be crazy madness on Saturday?

It looks like I should be able to make it. I'm having my party on Sunday, but a couple of my family members can't make it that day, so they want me to do somethig on Saturday. Let's see, if the movie starts at 1:30, it'll be over about 3:30, and I'll be home around 5. Maybe I'll just have a dinner with them or something.

 

I would bet closer to 6:00pm. The movie is almost 2.5 hr.

If we get there too late, we can always goof around a couple hours in the city then see the next show (I think it was at 5:30 or something). I sent Pacman and Shequan my phone number. They can call us if we're MIA, and the film's about to begin without us. I think we'll be just fine, but I like a plan 'B.'
