Whilst I was at C3 I was able to confirm my tickets to the red carpet premiere in London, and access to the VIP party afterwards.

I was actually able to secure TWO tickets to it, but I guess nobody would be interested to learn that on here!

Nice to meet all the FFUKers, especially Verity for your help with the celebrity photo shoot I held...

    ;-)

    NICE ONE!

Would love to know how you pulled that one off, but I guess then you'd have to kill me ;)

Well done mate, hope you have a great night.

thanks. It's a hectic week for me what with one thing and another.

as for the jedi mind trick - I was kidding!

But, I do have the tickets. Means I can't troop that day - :-( with the ukg but i hope it is still good fun.

just need to find a date - I expect the girlfriend will want to come, but as we're seeing it in new york the week before, she may decide she doesn't want to see it twice - pah!

Unlike Episode 1 this will be the one everyone went to see . . . and actually want to remember as well. I have a feeling it will kill the other two box office wise and DVD sales, well. Let's just say that if Lucas holds the tradition of basing his decision to make more films on whether the last one out at the time makes money, it's a safe bet you can count on 7, 8 and 9 coming down the road.

7, 8 and 9 seem very improbable by now. Firstly, the saga has gone around full circle and it would seem odd to add to the story. The double-trilogy was really about Anakins Development as a character, with that completed in EpVI, there would really be no point in making another film. Further to this, the books cover the 25 years after the Battle of Endor, Lucas will never, never make a films about someone else's story.

I wish we could have more films, but, I have made assumption, it is a near impossibility, that more will be released.

Now, I think it is important, we focus on the new TV shows, we must do our utmost to ensure it does not turn out all crappy like:
    Star Trek
    Star Gate
    Battle Star
    Space Precinct
"Buffy" - it was good at the beginning, but the it just became cheese at the end.
and many other dire sci-fi shows.

To prevent this, the live-action show will have to be slightly like a another film. They will not be able to release them is droves, and every single episode will not have to be about some crappy mission.

TDV: I'm not sure if it's for charity (like the medicinema screening on the 18th) or whether royalty will turn up (aside from George..), so I guess that's a don't know to both!
