I'm curious as to why this was 'upped'. As you can see from Peter's bio, he has not logged in since October.

 

cool, now I can say I posted in a thread that Peter Mayhew made and posted in!

 

Someone going to meet Peter soon somewhere ?? Then please tell him he have to return to the boards ... Or maybe he has a sock around here

It would be so cool to have Peter back - any Star Wars actor would be cool. But hey, Carrie Fisher said that she's actually a big fan of the internet and chats a lot with people. I wonder why she hasn't joined the JC yet. It would be AWESOME to have her here.

 

I'll see him again in Plano, May 17-19, at the Scifi Expo. If I remember, I can ask. Usually though, there are Fan Force representatives at these expos. Has anyone tried asking them to pass along the request to Mr. Mayhew?

He's still rather busy, it seems. I got the chance to meet Mr. Mayhew a few days ago at a local convention (it was a blast) and he spoke of how seldom he gets a chance to return home. However, it was a blast to meet him and it's great to see that he posts on these forums every so often.

For all we know, she has joined the JC, secretly. She's said that she has a lot of e-mail penpals who don't know who she really is.

 

On the George Lucas biography special,
Carrie was talking about how shy and quiet Lucas was on the set of the original SW.
She was so dry and funny talking about it.

First she said, "George completely lost his voice at one point during the shoot. It was two days before we could tell."

Then she said,
"so we got him a little box to carry around that had two horns on it. One was labeled
FASTER and the other said MORE INTENSE.
That's all we really needed to know."

I agree, it'd be great for him to return, though he probably does have a busy schedule, and if I were in his place, coming to an internet message board would probably be the last thing on my mind.

I mean, he did register here and was kind enough to post here, very few other actors have done that and I appreciate that he did.

 

I met him at a comic con, he was a great guy!
