Imagine all the Private Messages he gets about people asking him questions or praising him for his work. Think about that for a moment, and imagine George Lucas came here. Imagine how much attention he would get.

Well, seeing as how it's plastered all over the front board...I'd like to congratulate Mr. Mayhew!

Wow. This thread has risen from the grave again.

I'm very excited that Chewbacca is going to be in EPIII. Peter had hoped that GL would ask him to don the old hairy suit once more. Although I'm sure it won't be the original suit since it has not held up to the tests of time.

 

Hopefully, a new suit won't make him feel like he's roasting alive again, either.

 

I bet you he'll log in soon... maybe not today but soon. He probably wants to see the fan reaction to this. He'll also want hear about the reactions to his role as more spoilers come out... YES!!! HE WILL RETURN!!

 

Peter did wear a Chewie suit at the MTV Movie Awards tribute to him in 1998.

Actually...I think I remember him saying it was the original suit.

Bet it didn't feel/smell too good, though...and that was 5 years back, so it could be in worse shape now.

Chewie coming back is just beyond great. He was always one of my faves. Glad to see Mr. Mayhew is back in Star Wars. I'd imagine they'll make him a new, state of the art suit.

He's busy attending private parties in Pasadena with Jeremy Bulloch like the one I went to over a month ago...

 

Bulloch's a really nice guy as well. Every see that convention he with with Temura Morrison, where they ended up having Boba vs Jango in a fight?

Maybe we'll see a Kashyyyk scene tossed somewhere in Episode 3 which will explain his cameo, that would be neat. *Crosses fingers*

Or Lucas will take advantage of our anticipation and he'll show up walking by Obi-Wan for a split second on the street's of Coruscant.

Which would be quite dumb.

Perhaps the birth of Lumpy will coincide with the birth of Luke and Leia.

Seriously, I hope that Chewbacca's appearance in Episode III is meaningful and that Peter Meyhew will get to wear the suit again.

 

Finally, I know I can talk to someone taller than me on here (I'm 6'8"). But it sounds like Mayhew will be pretty busy.
